Hedgerows

Hedgerows are biologically diverse. They serve many purposes:

  • SHELTER and nesting for wildlife

  • FOOD such as berries and nuts for birds and small mammals, nectar for bees, butterflies and moths, and bats forage along hedgerows for insects

  • CORRIDORS of connected habitat used by animals like roads

Forget-me-not Woods doesn't own any heavy machinery and we plan to work the land gently, we will lay hedges to increase the land's value for wildlife and reduce maintenance.
